So it didn't take us long to venture out of Germany. Brian and I were sad to find out that some of the countries don't require stops at the boarders to check passports. No stamps yet. Guess that means we need to keep traveling.
We really didn't have any plans other than walk around the city and later check out the Vianden Castle. Like I mentioned in my last blog, there is always something going on almost every weekend. I just wish I would learn by now to take a couple of my reusable grocery bags with us just in case. Never know what you might come across.
William II square
I wanted to buy flowers but our day had just begun and they wouldn't last.
More market vendors
I wish I would've taken pictures of the elephants all over the city.
Inside the train station on our way back to the car. We had to make a bathroom stop. I don't mind paying to use a public restroom but it needs to be clean or I'll wait.
Here it is, our first castle! This is the view from our walk. Our GPS wanted to take us on some street we weren't sure if we could go down. So we parked on top of the hill and walked down to the town. Which we ended up walking back up another hill to see the Vianden Castle. I'm not complaining. It was fun and even better, a great workout with Kinsley on my back.
I didn't realize there was a medieval festival going on at the castle but it was a nice surprise. Here's the rest of our pictures.
We have booked our room for next weekend in Munich. Four day weekend means time for a family adventure.
Ciao!
I just love all the photos, the elephants are really cute. Too funny Kinsley really wanted to pet that owl!!!
